1959 Athel Fuller founded a small construction company in Chadron, Nebraska and named it Athel L. Fuller, Contracting. This company built custom homes, remodeled homes and built some houses for sale after completion.
1971 In 1971 Athel Fuller formed a partnership with his son Dana Fuller and Athel L. Fuller, Contracting became Fuller Construction. Fuller Construction began contracting larger projects such as multiple family units and commercial buildings along with its custom home construction.
1985 In 1985 Athel Fuller retired and Dana Fuller assumed the management and ownership of Fuller Construction. At this point Fuller Construction was largely engaged in private sector commercial and governmental construction work. This type of construction contracting encompassed serving both small and large businesses along with municipal paving and building, remodeling and construction for Chadron State College, and construction projects for federal entities like the Pine Ridge Job Corps, USDA Forest Service, and the National Park Service.
1990's In the 1990's Fuller Construction continued to grow in size and scope of the projects undertaken. Contracts were completed from Wyoming through the Nebraska Panhandle and into the lower band of South Dakota. Fuller Construction was one of three Nebraska contractors chosen by U. S. West to remodel their CDO offices in preparation for the installation of fiber optics. Fuller Construction completed twenty-two of these projects in Nebraska and one in South Dakota. From east to west these projects stretched over a distance of five hundred miles. Fuller Construction completed several bank building projects with an Omaha architectural firm. Construction projects for public school systems and elderly residence facilities were also completed during this era.
1999 In 1999 Eric Fuller joined the construction team after working as a crew supervisor for a Lincoln, Nebraska construction firm and a project superintendent for an Omaha area construction company. Fuller Construction was poised to enter the twenty first century as a full service general contracting firm serving private clients and companies while building multi-million dollar tax funded construction projeccts.
